Thanks for that Dee, at school and just after I was in a band call Cave Block 9 (the Hair Bear's residence)
I used to love Snagglepuss too, he was most famous for saying "heavens to Murgatroyd" but I used to like his wholly superfluous double emphasis "Hmm! The cage door is open. Ajar even."

I liked Yogi Bear and his sidekick BooBoo! He was always trying to steal the pik-i-nik basket. There were so many great HB cartoons.
I still have a stuffed teddy bear named "BooBoo" who has half the fur loved off him from little arms 50 years ago.
Geez. Sniff. There's something in my eye.

When I was a toddler, my mom bought me a stuffed bear that came with records and a record player called “Talking Teddy.” She put me in the playroom and I sat listening to the records over and over again.
Apparently they contained all kinds of instructions on proper behavior for children (I was very well-mannered to all adults except my mom!).
The only one I actually remember was the Doctor one. Teddy assured me that there was nothing to be afraid of in the doctor’s office; sometimes something might hurt for a moment, but he (generally not a “she” back then) only did it so I could be healthier later.
“When your mother tells you to take your medicine, say, ‘I would be obliged, Mother!’”
Laugh all you want, but to this day I’m still pretty chill with doctors and hospitals.
