I got all dressed up in my gangster outfit and we only got one group, all of whom were teenagers.

Oh, well!

I ate as much candy as we handed out.
Probably more.
Dam those nasty mini packets.
I saw Swedish Fishies
swimming on the ceiling all night.

We did the longest 2 and a half blocks of my life.
I think we handed out candy 5 times to maybe 15 or 20 kids.

I went to day program and superstore looking like that. Quite a spectacle.

Thanks Gilmer! It was fun. I did all my face paint with my own (real) makeup. I like doing stuff like that. It would be awesome to do makeup for cirque de soleil. I dig that stuff.

Does anyone decorate their homes for fall/ thanksgiving? Ours has already passed, when is the US thanksgiving?

It probably was from the 70s. She made it throughout the 80s and into the 90s. I requested it every year, even after I was in college, lol. It wasn't Halloween without Green Owl Feather Punch.

Evening rogues

Great costumes and makeup Delizadee
Another work day comes to a close.

One of my schemes at has been uncovered and rebuffed by my boss at work so it was not a great day - it is always discouraging to discover ones plans were not quite cunning enough to avoid detection.

Hi, weekenders.

Halloween turned out to be really diabolic for me - I managed to get cold. Again. Not so severe as the one I got a month ago, but no fun either.

And my boss told me today that tomorrow I am going to the government agency we are cooperating with to present our project. I feel to crappy to freak out.

I pulled together more or less decent outfit and now I have to have a decent sleep to have a clear head.

See you all)

one last bit of Halloween for all of us.. can only do this bit..
any further It makes me cry..
Backward, turn backward, O time, in your flight;
Make me a child again, just for tonight!
Mother, come back from that echoless shore;
Take me again in your heart as of yore --
Kiss from my forehead the furrows of care,
Smooth the few silver threads out of my hair,
Over my slumbers your loving watch keep --
Rock me to sleep, mother -- rock me to sleep!

Backward, turn backward, O tide of the years!
I am so weary of toil and of tears --
Toil without recompense, tears all in vain --

Take them and give me my childhood again!
I have grown weary of dust and decay --
Weary of flinging my soul-wealth away --
Weary of sowing for others to reap --
Rock me to sleep, mother -- rock me to sleep!

Deliza, your makeup is great! Nice job. It is fun to do it and you are good.

MB, I hope you feel better soon. You've really been struggling with the colds lately.

Sao, best laid plans? Sounds like your plans to be galactic overlord have been thwarted.

I'm checking in. Halloween was pretty uneventful. I brought a giant bag of candy into the office to get rid of and I've got even more at home. I'm very popular today.

Thank you for that wistful poem Ardith, it would be lovely to be young again

Good luck tomorrow MidnightBlue, I hold your cold passes quickly

Salmon poached in milk with boiled potatoes in pesto and green beans have improved my outlook on life considerably

I just saw my first Christmas advertisement of the season on TV. I know that the shops have been selling Christmas stuff for a while but I still feel a bit sad or something. Thanks Tesco! The time goes so fast.

Only a little over 3 weeks until the office Christmas party. I mean really, where does the time go?
