Hope this weekend has come to a peaceful conclusion for everyone. It has been one with ups and downs for me as my mother was hospitalized overnight on Friday, but better now. Better is a relative term. There has been cognitive loss; it is difficult. I am, though, grateful for so much.

I went to a coffee shop this morning for cake and coffee. Total came to €4.20 and I gave her a €10 note. She handed back 80 cent in change.
I actually had to say "I gave you €10". She didnt apologise at all. Said nothing. Just handed me €5. I know it's a small thing but I get so irritated with people who think they can take advantage. It didn’t appear to have been a mistake on her part.
Oh don't mind me. I'm just in a mood coz my mom said to me on the phone "it's a pity neither of my daughters will give me grandchildren".
Then I was in a bookstore earlier and stumbled across a book (aimed at women) titled "How get married if you are over 35".
Yeah coz we are all just dying to get married right. Looking around at most of the married couples I know, I think it's better to stay single.
Ok rant over for now.
