I love Weezer, and so does my son. They are playing at the Minnesota State Fair this weekend, but tickets are $$$ and it would mean going to the fair and spending even more and dealing with crowds. Nopenopenopenope

I was at the Glenn Hughes show Tuesday night, Glenn of Deep Purple fame and he has 25 years sober, anyways he has a record called Addiction and the song Addiction I am listening to right now. Without out music I am lost

I'm not even thinking much about the fact that this is a holiday weekend. In the past I'd be excited because it meant another day of heavy drinking (not that I didn't drink heavily whenever I felt like it). Now I'm just thinking I can get extra stuff done around the house.

HaF, that's so disappointing about the Brussel sprouts. Aphids are gross. They sometimes get on my tomatoes but they usually get the milkweed.

There's an article in my local paper about the neighborhood girl who won Rose of Tralee. Apparently she also works at the school up the street from me.

I'm in!! I have to work all weekend and Labor Day too - boo - there's no holidays in healthcare! Is fine though - we all just have to work 1 holiday a year so this is a good on to have. Last year I had to work Christmas! Have a great sober weekend, all! <3
