Good idea on the tamari, J. I always have it around, and I get tired of it with butter and salt.

I like some of the stuff at Aldi, but not all of it. Their store brand of some cereals is indistinguishable from the name brands. Their take and bake pizzas are great. The produce is limited but always good and sometimes 30-50% cheaper. Now I want to go get a frozen tart!

Yeah haha
I'm good with air con.
Just because I don't like it doesn't mean I can't tolerate it
I lived in SE asia!! With no air con, just a fan

I used to hate air con, now that I'm older I appreciate it

I'd never been to an Aldi until last week, Brynn. It's small. Not very pretty. But there are some great choices in there! I walked away with butter croissants, a frozen raspberry tart, blue cheese & pear flatbread, and some organic tea (peach and green tea was the best). All very good! I'm impressed.

I've never heard of sweaty shins.

I actually made a meal after getting home from yoga! Granted, it was mostly prefab food but it was a hot meal. Cut up a pound of chicken breast, brown it then add one can of cream of chicken soup and a pound of frozen mixed vegetables. Serve over hot biscuits. It was a recipe from that cookbook my son wanted. Upside chicken pot pie. As I warned him, it was bland. He ate it though

Aldi has upped their game. When I first went in one several years ago I was not impressed. Tried again last year when the budget was really tight and was much happier. They have quit a bit of organic stuff, and they don't use any artificial flavors or colors in their store brands now.

I tried their version of Gatorade, Marty. It's good. I drink it as I deliver the mail when it's 100F and I'm dripping sweat. The thing I loved is that there are no artificial food dyes in it; it's beta carotene supposedly.

Now I'm drinking my veggies. White tea. I read it has 10x the antioxidants of fruits and veggies. Many good quality teas are loaded with antioxidants, heck, even coffee has them. Anyway, I read this higher quality white peony tea has the most. That, and silver needles white.

Hopefully I'll get to Aldi this weekend! I looked up their weekly ad and I like their prices!

I heard this on my way home from work and thought of y'all! Can't remember if Ven was sweet on Pete or Roger!
