On a different topic, I have a job interview arranged for next Tuesday.

I can feel myself getting nervous already.

I have to stop or I will spoil the weekend that I was looking forward to so much.

Well, we went on our hike through really beautiful terrain. It was lovely. Then we went to a great deli for lunch and wandered through an antique store and got in the car to move on to our next destination. Back roads and it was a very pretty drive. Winding roads, up and down hills, twisty turns. It took almost three hours to go 69 miles. It truly was the journey, not the destination. Rural beauty.

Going to dinner.

Sounds lovely Ruby! I hope you are enjoying your well deserved holiday.

Well past my bedtime. Good night all. See you all on the fresh bus tomorrow. Let's help K in giving any new folk a big welcome!

Tetra, wtf was that? I hope it wasn't a serious talent entry... nah, had to be comedy, yes?

I didn't go for a hike, I made my own deli sandwich, and I handled a dead squirrel that was half gone and stank. Discovered - critter guy did - squirrel poop AND raccoon poop. Showed him the hair on the bat thing and he said yep, raccoon.

He also said it was the most professional looking bat chute he has ever seen and asked me what I used for the tube... ancient Chinese secret!
On my feet all day and the dogs are barking. Two sport drinks and a bottle water - time for shower and if it stops raining I will go outside and finish water spigot for hose cart. It's plumbed in and pressurized - no leaks -- needs to be secured to structure...
starting to get things done here...

Sounds lovely Ruby, good memories to store away. You deserve them

Past my bedtime too - an enormous, Lunar sized spider (well almost) has been stalking me and disappearing behind the radiator every time I get close. It finally moved into the open enough for me to trap him with a glass/coaster combo and released over balconey. Awake now - as bad as LBrains aardvark.

Goodnight all

You guys are still up? Wow!

Brain, I thought the talent hip hop was entertaining. Because it was non sequitur.

I was looking out the front window of the hotel and it was sunny, but pouring rain. The other side of the building was dry. Very odd. Done with dinner. We've not done well with our food choices. The best meal was the sandwiches from the Amish deli we went to today. The meat and cheese were very good.

Relaxing for the evening. Kids leaping from one bed to the other

Tetra, good luck on the interview. Just prepare for it instead of worrying about it.

Brain, good luck with the aardvark in the wall.

Sao, it's good seeing you but it is late for you. Or early for calling shotgun tomorrow.

I was sort of expecting something like the Miss Lovely Girl contest from Father Ted but it was a big arena (sorry for those of you who don't know Father Ted)

My car is hesitating when I start it. Auto zone tested the battery and I need a new one. Am going tomorrow afternoon to get a new one at toyota ca use of warrantee. I was planning to go on a hike tomorrow morning. ...but I suppose I shouldn't cause I don't want to get stranded at the trailhead. I should have asked at auto zone if it's an emergency. Best to be safe than sorry, I guess.

Hey folks. Nice to see all the music and entertainment videos, good stuff. LB, nice job on getting all that work done down there, you are still in Georgia, right? Nice work on the bat chute. Sounds like something Bruce Wayne would have in his bat cave. "To the bat chute, Robin!"

Been dragging my butt around town all day. Mercado. eCig vape store. Grocery. Cafe. Dessert shop. The last two were much needed rewards for my hard last few weeks at the old virtual office. Busy as can be, but that's life. My little company hired a PR firm and now we're doing press releases, getting some media attention. Also hired a marketing team and a sales team. We went from about 14 employees to 65 in just the last 2 years since I joined. Being sober ever since I got on board has made it really fun to be a part of.

Booked a trip to Guadalajara, Mexico for Labor Day Weekend. Leaving in just a couple weeks! I've only heard wonderful things and it should be a nice weekend getaway. Always nice to have a trip to look forward to.

Have fun in Mexico BigS. Running errands is fun sometimes as a reminder of things I never got done when I was still drinking.

Bat chute! I want one.

Trying to get kids settled down but it's hard when the television is on. Bedtime soon. New thread tomorrow! I'll bore you all with vacation pictures.
