Wink Weasel's stay sober on vacation thread

My vacation of course! Nope... Not going anywhere but home. Maine is called vacationland for a reason so when the nice weather is here I stay put to enjoy it all.

But to be honest I feel the need to garner a bit of support as I navigate the toughest part. So I thought I would start this to be and remain accountable and share what I am up to. Hope you don't mind!

First up breakfast out at my favorite little hole in the wall. Cleanest eggs and best sausage ever! Then a beach day today. Perfect weather for it!

Thanks for being there for me.

A stay-cation ..

19c and sunny here in wild south london ,
just checked 12c and windy in blackpool !! errk ..

I may have to buy a "summer" coat or jacket when i move .

Short term i think a move north will be ok , i keep mentioning a move to france, spain or portugal in a few years to mex-m8 .. i'll sow the seeds and see what happens .

bonne vacances .

Yup on the water can be chilly! I watch the weather before I head out but on the water the breeze always gets me.

A beach day?
Perfect weather for it
How perfect?

Have a great time Ken, the breakfast start sounds perfect -- please report about your day at the beach. It's cold here and we are heading to the shortest day.

Thanks everyone! Breakfast was wonderful!

Got a coffee and strolled the piers. Dozens of sea gulls hawking the fish mongers! I like walking down the ends of the piers and seeing everyone working... When I don't have to!

Sun will burn off these few clouds and then sunny and 81 with a cool ocean breeze. That's perfect for this guy!

The beach is a place I used to drink a lot. It will be interesting to see how I feel there. Lots of cringe worthy memories. But not today! Making new better memories is priceless!

Great idea weasel! I think I'll do this in a couple of weeks when I'm at the beach.

Yay! Staycations are the best. I find all these cool campgrounds around here but I'm now at the age that I don't enjoy camping that much, but I like all the State Parks on a day basis.

Day trips for the win
