Mod be rollin...
Dee, I just read an article about the similar qualities people who live to 100 years old have with each other. It was a short list of things you would expect....eat right, have friends, don't smoke, etc.
My favorite quality though, was that they generally have the ability to adapt to whatever circumstance is thrown at them and to make the best of it.
So, I think you are going to live a long time Mister and that thought makes me very happy. The world would be a lesser place without you in it.

Be still, my heart!!! That thread title momentarily freaked me out, Dee. I'll send you the cardiologist's bill
Now, what I want to know is: if these chairs do everything except climb stairs n' stuff, does that mean they cook for you too? Damn well hope so.
Whichever one you get, perhaps you could put John Cleese on an occasional retainer to come over and help out when it won't start....

Seriously Dee my chair has given Me mobility I would not have without it. I can spend an entire day out with family. They Don't have to slow down and stop every bench. Plus the chair carries our water bottles and plenty of snacks.
Dee, a thought just occurred to me. You don't happen to be the guitarist for Elton Johns band? Can't be you're from OZ. Sorry if it offends, but don't know any blokes called Dee.
Dee, you walk the walk in your recovery! So, now you'll be the great guy who rolls the walk. You are one of the "winners" to me Dee.

P.S. Would we know of you here in the U.S.??
Dealing with old fears momentarily knocked me off balance...but I really am OK
