Rainy day so the Mrs and I are cleaning up our office. Now we have roughly a copy paper box full of old documents to be shredded. But...I can actually navigate the files in my file drawer now, so that's a good thing.

There was just a little rolling thunder so now my big bad German Shepherd is cowering at my feet. She is a big wuss when it storms out.

Virtual Choir

This Gent records these Voices separately, and then combines them all.

The type of stuff I used to record on Reel-to-Reel Tape Decks as a Wee Bastid. All Voices simultaneously, of course, back in The Stone[r] Age.

~4 minutes of nice chillin'...

Unload my Truck of Household 'stuff' I hauled over, then away to the Small Town Dog Park in Sun.

Hey Weekenders, hope everyone is having a good day!!

Have some chilli meatballs bubbling away in the kitchen, was watching Premiership football this afternoon and this evening it's all about the NFL and who's going to the Super Bowl!!

Been a day for indoors where I'm at, very cold and tonight is to be even colder, plenty of green tea and TV I think is the plan!!

Let's keep it Sober everyone!!

Wow, PK! I was just feeling down--coming down with a cold and very bored--unable to get into my homework. You have just reminded me that there is exciting football on today! That ought to occupy me! Thanks!

went out to get air in the wifemobile. Radio told me 4 people killed in accidents around here this AM from freezing rain on roads. Big pile ups near Philly on the major roads. I'm holding out on throwing chemicals on the sidewalk hoping it warms up and the rain will wash it away. But still slick as s... Philly is ten degrees warmer than here.
Getting ready to watch me some football - the oval ball kind. Maybe they should rename it oval ball?

Hola folks, whew what a weekend. Great news, I am now the owner of a truck and have been safely and responsibly operating my new vehicle to get around down here in Central America.

We had a crazy experience going to get the truck. My girlfriend and I had to drive an hour to go pick it up. Alas, on the way there, the girlfriend's car broke down in the middle of nowhere. TWICE. A mechanic came the first time, the second time it was the police and a tow-truck. We rode all the way to Guatemala City in the back of the tow-truck, dropped her car off at a mechanic's place, then did the dance at the dealership with the salesman, purchased my truck, and drove an hour through the jungle to arrive back home. Gaaack.

I'm laughing now. Regardless of all the tests that were thrown my way, I was able to achieve my goal! No way in heck I'd have gotten through this day during my alcohol addiction. This was a real test of endurance and patience and I am proud to say I came out successful. Together we can stay sober, stick together, and really go places in life. Zoom zoom!

We took her car to a mechanic and dropped it off there, she needs a new radiator and should be able to pick it up on Monday.

Happy Sunday Sober Enders!!!
Can't believe the day is half gone.
A light went out in my bedroom the other day and I finally got around to deciding to change the bulb. Since I am vertically challenged, this means climbing on a stool to reach way up. Got my spare bulb from the closet and up to remove and replace. No light. Hmm. Went to another source and up to removed and replace. Apparently got a bummer bulb. Which is a double bummer since I purchased a quantity a few months ago and they are not inexpensive bulbs. Up again to replace the replacement and ahhhh, there is light. Now, how to get my moola back for the bummer bulb.

Going to do some puttering around and maybe have a peak at the game.

Be well, peeps!

evening all ,

Looks like you've all be getting on' nice ..

Pot roast sounds glorious K ,

Sober stash visit to NYC a great thing to do,

Being a good mum for the Kids,

Getting the Non's office sorted ,

So many people doing good things they wouldn't have got round to when drinkin .

I lived here for 3 years drunk , in my first month sober i'd managed to install a shower i'd been planning for the previous 3 years …. That one act makes my life better every day and gives me compound returns , every morning when i feel fresh and awake showered …

small changes X time = big change looking back

Bestwishes, m

Hi everyone! In overtime. Nail biting football. Kids and I are at my parent's house. My brother and his two are here. Roast beef, greens beans, mashed and roasted potatoes and baked barley. With overtime for dessert.

Heard this song on the radio as I was pulling up from the grocery store. I like this song a lot. Broken people can get better if they really want to.

Checking in tonight. Sounds like everyone is having a great day and either having or making delicious food.

I made creamy lentil soup for dinner tonight. I have been reading articles and book chapters almost all afternoon.

Trach-does cat taste like chicken?
