When I was up camping by that big Reservoir I posted some Pix of ~1 month ago, I put up 2 nights in a Motel Parking Lot. RV Parks aren't my Gig. So, I approached the Polish Owners of a Motel, and played up Da Wife's Polish Heritage as my BS lead-in story, even though she wasn't with me. For a low, low $10- or $20-/night [I forget], I netted a nice place in a nearly empty Parking Lot, and a safe spot for my Camping Trailer while I bopped around, or went Hiking. Free Hot Breakfast thrown in, and all that. There's lots of 'illegal' Camping attempted in this Town, so ya gotta figger out someplace legit to Camp in order to not get busted in the middle of the night.
In the adjacent, enclosed Dumpster, these 2 Critters foraged starting at 10 P.M. sharp each night. Not a bad spot for them, actually. The Maintenance Guy knew to shoo them out each Friday before Trash Pick Up time. Noisy SOBs, but amusing...
P.S. ~ GREAT Limericks. One of my favorite pastimes. Along with my legendary, rude 'Roses Are Red' Greetings in B Day Cards to Palz...
