Even in a drunken stupor, thankfully I always still had enough sense not to post on FB. Well, I learned my lesson once after I drunkenly PM'd on FB an old girlfriend I grew up with an embarrassing, long-winded letter basically spilling my guts. Like I said, I learned my lesson.

Twitter is another story though. I've made plenty of drunken, assanine comments on Twitter to celebrities I don't know. Fortunately, no one I know really saw them so not that big a deal. I did regret it though. But there are plenty of idiots on Twitter, so I fit right in. :p

My wife was away with work for weeks at a time, I was in the alcohol beverage industry so had an unlimited supply of free drink.

I drank at home, alone on the couch every day. When going to bed I would grab a bottle. If the bottle didn't fall out of my hand when I fell asleep, the first thing I would do when I woke up in the morning was drink it.

I never told my wife, but the wine stains on our couch, bed mattress and pillows gave it away.
