I quit last year August 27, 2013. I joined the August class 2013 in October and it was one of the better decisions I have made. I have met one of my classmates in 3D, a great guy. I have fostered some true friendships and while our class is smaller than we started, we have stuck together through thick and thin. Some may say it takes a village...and this saying is true for sobriety. Support can not be underestimated. In one year, my life has changed for the better more than the first 39. I look forward to year two and the things to come. I would not drink if someone put a gun to my head because for me death and drinking and drugs are the same. Good luck class of 2014 - we are all rooting for you!
