Well... My friend blew a .25!!!!!!! The judge took her license immediately for a year. She has to go to court soon. So sad. The people she hit from behind are claiming neck pain. Real or not it's a horrible situation. She will loose everything.

Please please please don't drink and drive. I did it when active in my drinking. I was ... No others were lucky.

I have to disconnect from her. She has to do it for herself.

It looks like a Mae West film marathon on turner classics. That ought to be good for a few. Come up and see me some time.

How about Repo Man quotes? None of which are suitable for family friendly reading.

I can never, ever, ever get enough rest. I went to my parents before coming home. My mom isn't shouting "mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom!" every few seconds.

I'm sorry, Weasel. It's for her own good. You are doing it not with disgust, but in love.

Totally in for a sober 4th, another first-year hurdle. We have a big block party that always ends with the adults getting boozy. Last year, I got so drunk that the last thing I remember is trying to talk-not this year!

"We're with the justice department and we're her to adjust your bed" (strange brew)
"Just because I don't know what it is doesn't mean I'm lying" (strange brew).
"On my death bed I will receive total consciousness, so I got that going for me, which is nice" (caddy shack).
"I don't think the heavy stuffs gonna come down for a while" (caddy shack)
"I was not going to ask, but could you spare a little?"
"Sure, how much do you need?"
"About fifty two thousand dollars" (vacation).
"It's all ball bearings these days" (fletch).
"Demons out!" (Fletch lives).
"He hates those cans!" (The jerk)

Ah, man don't get me started. . .

I think you guys are just making stuff up now. Tags on mattresses?

I am sorry about your friend Weasel. So sad and frustrating. Being your best sober self perhaps will be a good influence for her in the future. Stay strong.

I just googled Mae West movies. She did have a bunch of quotes. I used to be Snow White. But I drifted.

Weasel, I'm very sorry about your friend.

Mecanix, I hope that things work out with the house.

Arthur is on the coast of North Carolina. We are just getting the outer bands here in Raleigh. Hope all closer to the storm stay safe.

Hey Malcolm ,
For me the first year was full of moments when i was thinking "this time last year …" I felt a lot more comfortable in year 2 … like i knew what to expect .

keep on ..

Everyone ,
Friday morning in the UK blue skies and sunshine even at 5:30 in the morning , a new day to try again

film quote and weekend thread , must say i'm a bit lost as i tend only to watch films that make me laugh , world seems dark enough already and when people start waving guns round it's too much for this man, so i'm really careful what i watch as otherwise paranoia can start creeping in, most people i meet in real life are pretty decent and reasonable.

So one from castaway with tom hanks " I know what i have to do now, i've got to keep breathing, tomorrow the sun will rise . Who knows what the tide will bring ? "

keep on , Onwards is the only way to go …

Have a nice friday , off to work now , m
