Well... My friend blew a .25!!!!!!! The judge took her license immediately for a year. She has to go to court soon. So sad. The people she hit from behind are claiming neck pain. Real or not it's a horrible situation. She will loose everything.
Please please please don't drink and drive. I did it when active in my drinking. I was ... No others were lucky.
I have to disconnect from her. She has to do it for herself.

Totally in for a sober 4th, another first-year hurdle. We have a big block party that always ends with the adults getting boozy. Last year, I got so drunk that the last thing I remember is trying to talk-not this year!

For me the first year was full of moments when i was thinking "this time last year …" I felt a lot more comfortable in year 2 … like i knew what to expect .

Friday morning in the UK blue skies and sunshine even at 5:30 in the morning , a new day to try again
film quote and weekend thread , must say i'm a bit lost as i tend only to watch films that make me laugh , world seems dark enough already and when people start waving guns round it's too much for this man, so i'm really careful what i watch as otherwise paranoia can start creeping in, most people i meet in real life are pretty decent and reasonable.
So one from castaway with tom hanks " I know what i have to do now, i've got to keep breathing, tomorrow the sun will rise . Who knows what the tide will bring ? "
keep on , Onwards is the only way to go …
