Today I went to the supermarket, saw boxes of Heineken for an "excelente price", but this time I felt nothing, no temptation, no urge, nothing.
I have a bottle of wine in the kitchen, it's been there for a week now. No urge to drink it, no impulses, no nothing really. Happy with that.

Brazilian it's an inspiration to read your story, I struggle with both drinking and smoking pot, I'm on day 12 sober but haven't been able to put down the pot yet. Although my mind feels clearer without being drunk I'm still foggy in the mornings due to getting stoned before bed. Hopefully one day I can be strong enough to quit both demons

Sadly, I was wrong. I am sick.
Made an X ray exam today, it showed sinusitis is still full power, even after 12 days of antibiotics. The doctor changed my antibiotics and told me to take prednisone (steroids - corticoids). Weird.
So I went to a specialist to get a third opinion, and he was very concerned about my story. He told me to maintain the same antibiotics and prescribed a series of exams, among them a CT. I am sad and a little scared about it.
Got home a few moments ago. The bottle of wine is still there. Sure I wanted to drink it all. I'm sad and fearful. But I refuse to drink, so I resorted to my main addiction: food. Ate a lot and will eat more. Yes I'm that ridiculous.
Tomorrow will make some exams and saturday the CT (if my health insurance will agree to cover it). Wish me luck.
Sorry to hear that Brazilian, sinus problems are the worst IMO as they affect you as a whole. I had issues for a couple of years and no tablets or anything worked to give me relief. Was terrible, felt I was sick with the flu 9 months of the year. Hopefully it gets better soon.
Good on you staying strong and not drinking the wine. I know it's a gift but can you leave it at someone else's house? Or give it as an early gift so the temptation is gone? It's a hard battle and if your feeling sick it's better to concentrate your strength on that fully.
I'm all out of pot so am going to see how long I can go without smoking. I will not buy any but I know without drinking it will be hard to stay away from it as well. But for today ....I will not smoke or drink.

Thanks, D.
Thanks, Dark.
Dark, I will help you in anyway I can to you stay without smoking or drinking. Let's do it together. It really worth it. The first days are the worst, but soon you start feeling a peace that is priceless. I've been there, and hopefully I will have a chance to feel this peace again in this life. Hang in there ok.

hey, Brazilian, GREAT to see you on day 20,man ! AWESOME job! I slipped again - had a few drinks , which triggered craving and caving into mj. I am here again to dust myself off and get right back into the saddle of soberity. Here we go again - I'll be here checking in each day. So happy to see you here fighting the good fight still. I've joined the team! Day 1
