unbearable mental anguish
Beak and Erik1980-
Remember...there isn't a person in this world...alcoholic, drug addict, or sober who hasn't done something they are embarrassed or ashamed of at some point in their life. Put last weekend on the back burner and maybe next Monday will bring memories you will be proud to share. And if not...then try it again the following week!!

Welcome Erik...and hang in there beak....every day gets better. I share similar experiences of blacking out, embarrassing moments and can totally relate to countingdays. I remember coming out of a black out, in July actually, to realize I was in a huge argument that I had no idea about how it started....but it ended terribly, with my daughter...haven't spoken to her since I DO know that only by my SOBRIETY can I gain ANYONE'S trust again.
