Great to hear from you MLC, I was thinking of you only yesterday.

Time to move forward now. Go home and give your lovely kids a big hug. They will have missed you lots.

You have taken that first big step closer to them now. So proud of you xxx

So glad you went for this and amazed by your courage. One thing that kept me going was the thought that every day of hell I went through brought me one day closer towards recovery and one day further from the rut I had been in.
Thanks. Yeah it's like nothing else. I did experience depersonalisation as a teen when I was taking alot of LSD. I have a counselling appointment on Friday so I will go from there.

I can't stop shaking, my hands are constantly shaking and it feels like my brain is too. I feel totally incapacitated this morning, argghhhhh. And I look so sick when I see myself in the mirror.

(((((MLC)))))) This will pass. Focus on that thought. I had the depersonalization thing too as a teen. followed me into my 20's and had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. you might ask your doctors about trying a beta blocker for the anxiety. I started taking atenonol due to a very minor heart defect and the side effects have been calmness and the depersonalizations stopped. Worth a try, I think. I take a very small amount (25 mgs) a day. it's non addictive, so do ask your doctors.

I'm glad to see you posting!

Love from Lenina

Thanks. I do think it is due to the benzo withdrawal in this case though.

Will consider beta blockers down the track if things don't change. They doubled my anti depressants a few days ago so I will see how that goes also.

My vision is blurry, I can't stop shaking, like seriously in keep spilling food all over me when I try to eat (

Thanks. I'm worried about paws after such a rapid detox. I'm pretty much useless atm.

Thanks. I really hope I am better soon. I can't do anything. Never been so sick in my life. It's all my own doing too. Stupid stupid. Hubby just said to the kids he has taken the rest of the week off.
