Nonsensical

Hit the ground running today. Scooped the doggie business out of the yard, hauled some lumber from Home Depot and stacked it in the yard, and waiting for 0930 before I start running my saw. I am hosting a party in 3 weeks, and this deck needs to get done!

I had a great dinner last night, with BOTH major food groups: pig and BBQ sauce. Yum.

I was going to do lemon and coriander (ciltrano) chicken from Madhur jaffrey today but i've been a bit sick as has mum ...
so i've had two pineapples .. it seems my comfort food is now fruit .. fresh ice cold pineapple from the fridge is quite the most wonderful thing ever . I'm sure i could eat another 4 of them ,

Having a sad weekend as my Uncle passed on Friday night. I was in Boston (yup in all the chaos) as my son needed to fly out of Logan Airport for his spring break in California. I stopped to see the ocean in Hampton on way back to Vermont. I miss my son but happy he is having this experience. I miss my Uncle but I'm glad he is not suffering anymore. I can't remember crying this much before but I am doing it sober. Thank you for your weekend posts.

Nonsensical

I am beat down and tired. A full day working on that deck. Got a lot done, and the weather was glorious, so it was a good day to be outside.

About ready to crawl into bed, but I want to stretch another hour out of my weekend if I can.
