Because every living being deserves happiness.
Because if I am happy with my life, the people who are in my life such as my family are happy too. And they deserve happiness just as much if not more than me.

It’s not about deserving to be happy, it’s that not trying to be happy is throwing away the amazing things in your life that you’re not bothering to notice, when you should be appreciating and making the most of each one. We waste so much of life just existing, not paying attention, focusing on the wrong things, doing things we don’t want to do, making excuses for why we can’t do the things we do want to do, and always thinking about things retrospectively with regret. You might say you’re a waste of space so you don’t deserve to be happy. I say if you’re not trying to be happy, THEN you’re, well, not a waste of space, but you’re wasting your life.

You don’t owe it to anyone or the world’s “space” to be happy. You should do it because if you’re not living your life in a way that makes you happy, you’re not living your life.

I deserve to be happy because I truly believe I am a kind, caring person. I have been through many hard times and I think it's time now for me to find a calm, consistent and stable equilibrium.

I deserve to be happy because the whole idea behind living life is to learn from it and hopefully get better at the art of living.

I deserve to be happy because I have worked very hard to be at the place I am mentally and physically. I also believe that everyone deserves to be happy because God wants us to be.

I to was raised to believe I did not deserve to be happy. Bounced from one unhappy situation to another. Working on feeling I deserve happiness. I deserve to be happy because I have had enough unhappiness for two lifetimes

Not sure if I do deserve to be happy (bear with me), sometimes I think, just because I was born and am a human being do I have a right to be happy, do we all deserve to be happy and in some way be able to even obtain happiness, there are soo many people that are born into circumstances that will never amount to happiness, people will have health problems, born into poverty, or generally just be dealt cards in life that are just not in their favour, the harsh reality of life, the unforgiving existence that we are born into can be harsh on some.

However everyone deserves to be happy I believe, that won't be the reality for many, but I think if given a shot at this thing we call "life" everyone should have the chance, but as mentioned sadly it is not the case.

I think I deserve to be happy because I'm trying, I've failed more times than I succeeded to be Sober, but I got here and I'm trying my best, the only way I know how to, turning my life around to be a better human being, if there is such a thing as Karma then I may be in with a shot of happiness, who knows!!

I don't know whether or not I deserve to be happy. But I surely do not deserve to suffer.
