WHAT ABOUT YOU?
I was born with an inherant communitations skills Like being fussy when unconforatable, cry when hungery and also laugh hysterisally when the experence funny.
I deserve to be happy because:
- Because its my nature to be happy.
- Because I need happy times to help ofset and heal from the sad times to come.
- Because happyness can be given away freelly.
- Because I use happyness to lift me out a vary dark hole.
It has taken me so long to be able to accept that I deserve to be happy. Sobriety has helped me see what a lifelong issue this has been for me. From being taught from a young child that I was not supposed to be happy, to staying for many years in an unhappy marriage, to staying in unhappy jobs and living in unhappy places, this belief that I don't deserve a happy life has underpinned so much.
I really want to get underneath this blanket of undeservedness and gather the strength to lift it away from me.
Sobriety was the first step as alcoholism was just another layer I had heaped upon my undeservedness.
