TY so much, SDSurfn, this is the best b-day ever and the best gift I can give myself 
It is amazing how great I feel compared to how bad I would have felt drunk.
I know you guys will help me if if struggle in week 12 or what not------akkkkkkkkkk

Well, I am going to head off to the market, and to walk the dog. Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. I will do my best to help anyone like you have helped me

Like most people said I would rather feel today than be numb, I started drinking/drugging when I was in the freshman year and most everyday until i was 32 i was stoned or messed up, today ten years later I am sober why because I reached out to sober people for help instead of running into the bottle/drugs! Together we can do this!
A grateful alcoholic will not relapse! Stay strong and connected, no matter how you feel just know your worth it!!!!

Hi metal chic,
I am only at day 3 sober. I understand it is going to get tough for me but people like yourself are an inspiration. You help give me courage to keep sober as there is such strength that is found in someone that can admit how tough they are finding things and still manage to soldier on.
