S, you're such a great friend I actually had a chuckle thinking about some words, I think Mark Twain wrote them (?) The rumours about my death have been greatly exaggerated

I'm taking action today, still keeping that forward motion going, and leaving the fear behind. Printed up some business cards and I'm working on a resume (haven't done that in over 20 years!) I've got to run a few errands this morning, then I'll run by the office and turn in my cell phone, and see if I can help out in any way possible and offer support to my co-workers.

I just talked to my new sponsor, he reminded me that it's better to have a job with a pay cut than no job at all, so I'll most likely hang in until the doors are chained shut.

My experience has been that as long as I am doing the leg work no matter what it is, God will take care of the rest. Keep the faith.

I don't think I've ever seen my partner so angry before, so it's hard to decide if getting fired would be a bad thing or if I could accept it as a blessing at this point. Either way, I know I need to be living in acceptance and in the moment right now.

I was doing some reading in my Life Recovery Bible this morning, this week's lessons have been on Step 10 and dealing with rage and anger. Reading from James 1 this morning what stuck with me most were these phrases:

Faith and endurance.

Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

So that's what I'm staying focused on today

I completely agree with D on this...if there is one person I know here that is grateful for everything and sees God's work everywhere, it's you, "bro"....hang on to what you know....that God is at work and the next part of the plan willl come clear when it's time
