Who Weighs What?
I can't believe I just said that.....
But if you guys did it..guess I can too.
Really..it was so hard that "heavy" year..but making positive changes has
made a world of difference. It didn't happen overnight.

I'm 32 and weigh 220. I'm 5'6"
I was 170 in 2005 (thin thin thin for me). I was drinking Rum and Diets. Introduce wine and creative mixers and lo and behold whomp! 60 pounds!! I was 230 when I quit and I've lost 10 lbs so far. I've also been eating healthy and I would like to start working out.

At basic training, a guy in my platoon who was about your height thanked me at graduation for being the tall guy, because he was so used to being the one getting all the looks, and the jokes, etc...for once he could kinda just blend in...

I'm 49, 5'4" 145 lbs. I could stand to lose a few.....if I could just stay away from the beer long enough.
I did not drink today and I was very depressed, when I read this thread, I laughed after what seemed hours of feeling miserable. Made my belly fat jiggle a little. LOL.

I'm 35. I am 5'7" and a medium frame. I had gastric bypass five years ago and was 312lbs. Today I am 200lbs give or take. I'm working on losing some more slowly but surely. I gained a bunch of weight while on antidepressants. I went off of them and the weight started to come off. I was a binge drinker for 3 mos before I decided it was a problem. I didn't drink for a long period of time but when I did it caused big problems.
Did not want to say a thing about it until this morning. This morning I'm officially 200 lbs, still 5'11. I've lost a lot of weight since going the sober route. How much weight? I'll just keep that my little secret. Twenty more pounds to go. That is a lot of walking. Gunna look good in that JC Pennys speedo

Oh well I've been so honest with everything else.
Im 37, and I have also gained weight in the last 3 yrs since my husbands deal & I took to drinking all the time.
I hate it, because before that I used to work out almost daily.
Now I am between 155-160. I would really like to be back down to 140. Hopefully by summer! Think now that I am back waitressing & on my feet all the time that should help.

I just ate a roast beef sub and I feel like crap for it. I know I need to lose some weight and I have been training for this marathon but I seem to exercise and then pig out. Don't know why.
Hi Phaleron,
I have tried everything on the market including prescription stuff. I am usually pretty good with the eating thing but I guess all this training makes me hungry. I just had a friend tell me, "you got to feed the monster." Inline skating 15 miles a day. Im pooped.

Cool toabetter,
Late at night, I've gone for long walks, Many times with a flash light(torch) on cloudy or Moonless nights. When the opportunity is presented, I'll do the same in the middle of the day and meet some very interesting people( that alone makes it all worth it). Of all the things I have done to improve my world(My world), Nothing else has come close. I am sober, approaching my ideal weight(as defined by me) , and feeling a bit scrappy. Not looking for a fight but I could handle one now.
Inline skating? Oh hell, I'm not superman
