I did it! My 1st Superbowl with out one drink since 1998!

Even though a couple of my biggest enablers where there & drinking. I managed to stay close to my mom who knows I am trying to be sober!

Day 11...I can't believe it's been that long already. If I go four more days without drinking I will have passed my usual cave-in mark. That will be cool.

3 years 8 months and 2 weeks, sometimes it feels like 450 years and other times it feels like a few secs.

I started doing this one day @ a time, cos I could wrap my brain around that concept and today I still do that and I try to live my life one day @ a time.

I have not had the obesession or complusion to use for over 3 1/2 years

Actually I think its all of you that are inspiring, so courageous to quit and face the beast and then life when your head and body tells you to use or drink, thats courage and that inspires me.

I kinda lost count.(I gotta think about it for a minute)
I think I will go get a free Breakfast from Denny's now.
Have a great day everyone and stay sober.

Congrats Massey for your two weeks-------and JSM for 20!!!! Excellent!!!!!!

Is it really true Denny's is doing that? It's not a buy-one-get-one?

Anyway......another beautiful day......JSM, I like what you said about the gifts, just look around.......how true!!!!!

I went by Denny's like I said after going to the doctors.
I was amazed (not really)
There was a line out the door longer than the Unemployment line.
Needless to say"I didnt get my Grand Slam"
Those people must be drunk to stand in that line for a cheap little free breakfast.
I treated myself to some arabic food. YUMMY!!! But $$$$$$
