I don't think I posted today, and if I did - sorry! Had a wonderful evening with my 21 yr old daughter. She took "me" out to dinner (this is a first!) and had such an enjoyable time! Lots of laughing, hugging, etc.! What dreams are made of....
Day 12 and am more grateful and appreciative towards sobriety and recovery today! If I do tomorrow what I've done today, hey... who knows, I just might stay sober another day! Good night everyone! xoxoxoxo

7 am and have to be at work at 9am.
I am going to the gym 1st but if I was still drinking there is no way in hell I would get up 2 hours early and go to the gym before work.
Looks like things are changing now that I decided to stop drinking.
Yep, we can all change!

Rouxb, I see your in Warren, Mi.....better be careful out there, snowing like crazy.
I find it so much better to drive to work thru the snow without having a splitting headache in the morning, or the shakes.
Change for the good, can't beat that.
Have a good one today all.

Today ends Day 13 for me. Today had been really good until this evening for me. I didn't need to drink over "it" and will hopefully get past some of the stuff going on sooner than later! I'm still a grateful recoverying alcoholic! Love you guys n gals out there around this insane world!
I've tried to post on this thread and make it a daily ritual at the end of the day. Was too tired last night after shoveling and plowing snow at bed time.
But day 9, yesterday, was the first time in many a winter that I did not drink and plow snow.
I went to bed sober last night. Thank God.
Day 10 is upon me.
Have a good day all!

Well... I'm a bit flustered that I woke up before 6am on a day when I have nothing to do and no where I have to be until noon, but I've no regrets of another sober night's sleep.
At least I was able to be moderately productive. God bless the internet, government access 24 hours a day! I even had time to record a short video clip of myself, have a look
