I changed a tire a long time ago when I was drunk. The next day it fell off while I was driving. Good thing I was not going fast and I was on a side street.
Sober is the way to be!

Hang in there geoff.
Day 27 is an amazing feat of courage man. People outside of addiction cannot know how much of a warrior you are inside to battle thru this thing, keep going, keep moving on.

Good job to everyone! Phal, thanks for saying it gets easier. Today is day 35 and I had a seriously close call about an hour ago. Had my mind in the bottle already. But I distracted myself and I think it's passed. Going to start getting ready for bed so I can't change my mind.

Yeah we did it. Even though I thought about it no less than 500 times today for some reason. I have a Tax Audit tomorrow & start my new job & am a little wound up tonight Oh well I guess I'd rather be nervous & not be able to sleep than get up with a hang over or be foggy for my 1st day at work!

35 days for me. Went to see "The Reader" tonight with a friend.....strange movie.....very strange.
