Whiners Anonymous ....Part 10
Lonely, lonely, lonely this week.
And I have to work all weekend--yucky yucky hours, 7p.m.-3a.m. ugh...
And this Sun will make 7 days without any days off at all.
And they want me to settle for having off Mon and Fri due to meetings that happen on the other days this week. Imahavtosay no.
And, my teenager, who must be growing like a weed or something, ate $200 worth of groceries in 5 days. I'll be glad when school starts, he's eating out of boredom, I think. So even though I bought all that food, when I woke up today, there wasn't even a muffin left outta the pack for my breaky....waaaaaah....brats.

This is my first post in the Whine thread so I'll leave it at that for now. LOL
I'm going to have to make an appt with my doctor. Been having bouts of dizziness and 'hot flashes' and I was done with menopause almost ten years ago! But this is getting bad enough to see the doctor now. Will make an appt this Monday. Can't stand always feeling so lightheaded. I'm doing well in staying sober but can't figure out what's going on here. It's very annoying and interferes with plans. Hard to get things done when I'm feeling like passing out all the time.

I'm whining about the insensitivity and deviousness of some folks. The nine-year-old girl whose voice was heard at the Olympics wasn't considered by the Chinese to be "pretty enough", so they substituted another girl to lip-sinc!
Shades of Milli Vanilli!
Shame on them!

That's awful, Nonny, I hadn't heard about that. I feel sorry for both those girls.
Personally, I blame the International Olympic Committee for allowing things like this to happen.
And it seems the Zipperman is a tad annoyed today, nice whine RZ, just let 'er all out here, that's why we're here.
My whine today is called Toby. He is outwhining me and making such a fuss just because I am going away for a few days. Mr. Queeny will be home and because he is working, the royal catsitter will be taking him for walks and entertaining him several times a day.
I only have 90 loads of laundry left to do today, well maybe not quite that many, but I am getting annoyed at Whiner Kitty. Grrrr.

I read that story too and was quite p!ssed at the Chinese officials who heard the singer and demanded that "her voice must change!" What's so awful about imperfect teeth? That's what they didn't like about the girl with the perfect voice. Sheesh! And one of the gymnasts has a dispute about her age. Come on folks! Let's be honest here. So what if the host country doesn't will all the medals!
And we wonder why there's an epidemic of dishonesty in the world... Leaders are supposed to 'lead', and in a good direction too, but I guess that's too idealistic!

I can't think of a thing right now that would be personally whine-worthy!
I came back from feeling pretty good because I won two games (fifty cents each) and called my sister to share my "good fortune". My niece had just called terribly upset...couldn't stop crying. This is the one with four kids whose husband lost his job a week ago and has been out looking with no nibbles so far. He's in the hospital...has a blockage which may have to be operated on tomorrow and possibly require that he wear a bag for six - eight months. Good grief!
I needed to talk to someone, so I called my son. Thank goodness his program is working for him...he pointed out how much worse things could be. "They could have caught it too late...the medical benefits are still in effect...he qualifies for unemployment benefits...he can probably pick up some at-home consulting...the kids are old enough that my niece would at least be able to work part-time, if necessary." All of which I'm sure she isn't thinking right now...maybe when she has some time to wrap her mind around it. I just hope and pray all will go well with the surgery.
