I know what cherries are, but what's calimari??

My whine is just because I was just hit with a massive craving - didn't give in - but irritated that I'm not like "normal" drinkers... cause I'm not even a normal person (whatever that might be)... just a big whiner...:sorry

can't even sleep when I want to sleep...

Whiners beware...you were warned ahead of time. Here goes...and this IS the short sugar coated version.

I now need to find another mom of the groom dress. (don't ask)
I'll have traveled all over the state pretty soon. Prom dresses everywhere...cocktail dresses everywhere, ugly dresses everywhere, great ones that are the wrong color or size everywhere. Don't they know that short people like to dress up and look marvelous???

Okay now...I'll take a breath and continue.

Re my tires/wheel balance/new brakes on my car whine.
It's shaking AGAIN at 50 mph...yuk.

I love my new grand kittens. RA and DIL have two adorable cats....but I am so allergic to them that we had to leave his new apartment early the other day. Red itchy eyes, sore throat, sneezing, itchy face and hands too. I hate it.

As if all the wedding stress, in-law issues, money going out etc....now my son needs to have the surgery on his wrist just 4 weeks before the wedding!!! yikes! (please pray)

I need to buy at least 40 (40lbs each) bags of mulch, haul them from the truck and spread them out over all the areas that will be raked over first by....guess who? bingo! cmc will do it all.

I'm worn out from this whining. That's all you get from me for now.

Whining is free. Whiners Anonymous meeting makers make it. Whine about it. Got Whines?
Whining is the spice of life. Whiners make good pasta.

least...I didn't see your post.
Calimari is squid you buy at a grocery store or prepared in a fine restaurant.

Calimari is also the same stuff mr cmc and my sons buy to use as bait...they can get it at the tackle shop but it's much cheaper at our local grocery store.

About not being able to sleep....heck I'm not a recovering alcoholic but just an Alanoner who can't sleep either! I wish I was sleeping right now.

btw..check out the Insomnia forum.
I'm pretty sure for me it has something to do with Step One and letting go of what I can't control.

Way to go Least , my Son took nearly a year before he could say bye to me when he was pissed at me! , They do come around , like everyone ,kids need time to chew on stuff before things settle , I think mine were afraid to reinvest in me at first , but as sanity is returning to my life and The clean days stretch to months, that fear is subsideing . By the way , sort of sounds like you might be doing a bit of ,"what if (insert worst possible outcome here) and I wasn't Perfect?" , haul out the serenity prayer! hang in there , Matt

CMC, I am concerned about that mom-of-the-groom dress. The rest of the world can wait until you find that fabulous dress that is worthy of fabulous you.

And for those who wonder, calamari tastes. and has texture, remarkably similar to those pink erasers we used in grade school. Blecht!

Thanks Queenie...I knew you would understand. :hugs: I told mr cmc that housework, home cooked dinners and yardwork will take second place for a bit...I am on a mission!!

Of course the bad news is that once I find it I won't be able to whine about it any longer and then what am I going to whine about? It scares me just thinking about that.

I don't know if I can do that...maybe I will gain some ESH along with some strength and support from all my dear WA friends.

Linda,
Thanks for the tip about Ann Taylor. I'm a regular customer at the Loft...so much so that the manager at my local shop offered me a job! I looked over what they had in that store a few weeks ago but will go take another look at at their new arrivals and check out their website too.

What's so odd...is that the spring stuff is just now coming into our malls and I live in a subtropical climate! The wedding is about 100 miles north of Cuba for goodness sakes!

I find all kinds of great stuff in dark colors or that shows too much skin for this occasion if you know what I mean! Sheesh you'd think they'd hurry things up with the spring/summer stuff that we wear almost all year long.

I think I might be cursed... I've been sober for 16 days and have had problems in every other area of my life. Today I woke up dizzy as hell and weak as a kitten. Blood pressure is too low, maybe that's part of it. Spent most of the day lying down. I can't get anything done!!! I'm sick of feeling so lightheaded and energy-less!!!!
