Whiners Anonymous Part 7
I'm whining partly because this is such a good place to whine... but also because I "should" feel much better after 19 days sober... but am agitated and nervous and anxious beyond belief. When do I start feeling 'better'???:wtf2
back at work - a full hotel ... *sigh*
Dont-With-It sent me a great youtube video - about Butte ... it was wunnerful. I got all chokoed up then thought - hey if they make butte look GOOD peeps will start MOVING here... and it'll get ruined like Bozeman did....
that's my whine.
I don't want butte ruined.
The humor in that is -
'messing up' butte ...
would be like ...
messing up a rock.
Kinda hard to do.

My Friday morning whine is *I got 4 hours sleep last night and have unregal bags under my eyes today*.
The good news is, it's because I was at a 25 year celebration at AA last night and drank too much coffee while listening to one of the best stories I have ever heard shared.
Who has the cucumbers?

And Pattee!!! My bags are NOT that bad and certainly won't take 56 days!
I'm heading off for work now, so I'll just throw on my shades and nobody will notice...much...unless they look close...or at all...
The elderly beagle was running around the yard yesterday and must have twisted her back leg cause she yelped in pain and is now limping badly. Vet visit today... and at least a $50 bill... but have to take her, she's in pain. Oh well, at least I have money to pay the bill... if it's not too big.:praying

I didn't know guinea pigs HAD ankles! We've had several and all I could see was about an inch of leg and then a foot.
Took elderly beagle to the vet. The bill was under $50 and the pain meds were free samples.:bounce Vet said she'd torn the ligaments inside her knee and it's now moving where it shouldn't move at all. Only treatment is restricted activity, which she's already doing, pain meds, which we have, and possibly surgery... which probably won't happen as its very expensive. Poor old girl... I have to lift her on and off the bed and carry her down the front steps to the yard. My sweet old beagirl.

Well of course guinea pigs have ankles. It's all part of their girlish figure. Actually, as far as I can figure out, their anatomy consists of a fat bum attached to lots of toenails. Particularly since ours seems to feel that any activity requiring actual movement is highly over-rated!
