Definitely- I like to smile now and it's natural! Feels great.

OK- anyone else watch 'Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?'... That's the favorite new show here... The answer is "NO", I Tam Tam, am NOT smarter than a 5th grader. I already knew this, though, from helping my children with their homework!!!

Ayla, I hope you wake up feeling better tomorrow. You lose out on too much with these headaches!!

I ordered Drinking- A Love Story and it came today. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Scoot- I hope you start feeling better!! The sicknesses going around everywhere sure do hang on a long time!!!

Beezy, you sound so good this week!

Pookie- Are you feeling good about things? Have you been drinking much wine? It's a hard process, I know. You know where to find me if you need me.

xoxo

It's always something, Beezy- isn't it? Why can't things just stay calm for a while. You deserve some serenity...

Ayla, you are wink winking with Kev- your head must feel better!!

I am staying strong and just waiting to hear when she passes....

I may leave tomorrow night instead and drop in and see them before I go to dad's ......

I just did not want to be gone that long.....2 dogs....2 kids....at someone elses house...the kids will do better than the dogs...the dogs get on my step dad's nerves cause they all play with mom's dog and he says they run wild...well of course they do...it's 80 acres....they love it...I stay with them.

oh well...they go where I go....

Well guys, I have five minutes to type this in. It is blizzarding outside my window (snow, howling winds, hail) so I hauled out The Sober Kitchen and made some "Chai for Two"...

It is so yummy - more like a dessert than a cup of tea:

1 1/2 cups water
2/3 cup whole milk (I used 1 per cent)
1 cinnamon stick
8 cardamom pods, lightly crushed or 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
4 cloves
One 1/2 " piece fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
6 black peppercorns
4 teaspoons sugar, (or more or less to taste)
2 teabags, black or Darjeeling (or even "chai" if you have those - the recipe just amplifies the flavour)

1. In a medium size saucepan, combine all the ingredients except the teabags. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Remove from the heat and add the teabags. Cover and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
3. To serve, pour through a strainer into two cups. Add more sugar if desired.

Enjoy!!

Goodnight everyone! Off to read with Alex and maybe watch ER if it's on this week!

C
