My sobriety date is 6-20-06, so that puts me at about 52 days (I think....gee does this require higher math?)lol

Holy WOW Part 3
Well this is a must seeing this is how Part One started.
Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is odd with its twists and turns,
As everyone sometimes learns.
And many a person turns about
When an individual might have won
had he or she stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You may succeed with yet another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems
To a faint and faltering woman or man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he or she might have captured the victor's cup;
And one learned too late when the night came down,
How close he or she was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And when you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst, you mustn't quit

morning DQ's from blighty...
this morning was sweating,staggering, and felt ready to throw up...another binge..No way im not giving up.. I had just run around my local lake .. only a few miles but its a start.
sun rays breaking through the trees, prodigy blasting in my ears.. splendid...
had breakfast with the kids and we've all been singing along loduly to the Scooby Doo them tunee..quality
Not Giving up today.. no chance

Welcome to all the newcomers on the bus. We are so happy to have you here. Newcomers are the life blood of this bus, of course we can not forget those who have been here awhile who help guide us.
Has anyone told the newcomers about what we do with the duct tape? Maybe later when the time is right. Man, we sure went through a lot of duct tape over the years. Let us not forget the importance of all purpose duct tape. It serves many purposes.

use and think with more powerful language like I WONT QUIT TODAY
NEEDTOBESOBER Keep on doing the sober dance,
good on you with 10 days, it just keeps getting better.....

I echo what Missy said, Renewed Hope. Please keep in mind the purpose of this site and share your experiences related to recovery from alcohol.
