Don't Quit PART 2
It is necessary to open PART 2 of the 'Don't Quit' thread because it has become too long for our system to cope with.
I really hope you will all continue to share your stories of recovery on this thread and to always remember Wingsfree/Denise who brought us this thread which is full of wonderful memories.

Actually, isn't this part 3 or 10 or so? I seem to remember it got up to a huge number once before. I would love to know how many posts there have been since Denise started this thread. Chy, I think, used to know...

Yay Cheryl!!! You are awesome. I'm gonna miss that old thread. I was hoping I would get to see it get to 10,000 posts! Shows how much I know about all that bandwidth, server, and other such stuff. Oh well..... Live and learn!

Don't Quit.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit—
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is odd with its twists and turns,
As everyone sometimes learns.
And many a person turns about
When an individual might have won
had he or she stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow—
You may succeed with yet another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems
To a faint and faltering woman or man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he or she might have captured the victor's cup;
And one learned too late when the night came down,
How close he or she was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out—
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And when you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit—
It's when things seem worst, you mustn't quit
