Sorry you still are not feeling well Mags.

FBL, as Mags said, I hope with family coming, Fran will rally.

Have a good weekend all!

Mags I hope you're feeling better now sending hugs.

FBL you reminded me of when my Nan was fading. My Uncle was visiting from Canada with his family when she passed and we firmly believed she was waiting to see him before letting go. Whether Fran's family give her a reason to live or the peace to let go, I'm sending positive thoughts.

Mags, sending loads of *hugs* and wishes across the pond to you!

FBL, when a couple has been especially close, it’s sometimes so hard for the survivor to keep on going. Sending my best wishes for whatever Fran wants. It’s so hard on close friends.

Have a good Saturday to all.

Good morning friends what little is left of it.

I thought it would snow today but instead it is a gorgeous day for which I am grateful. I have another much needed day of buttoning up the garden and maybe even steam clean my car.

I'm eating an early lunch and then going to go call the pharmacy and try to start up the leaf blower.

May this weekend be lovely for you all.

Good morning, Overs!

We’ve also had some gorgeous fall days. Amidst all of the country and world upheavals and unrest, it’s a relief to just enjoy the autumn colors and weather and communicate with friends.

Have a good day

BIG dump of snow coming to mine and Bekind’s area of the world, and I’m so glad our home builder has the knowledge and has been feverishly trying to prepare to protect what foundation IS built. Over 14” expected starting soon.

Meanwhile. In the southeast US, a gorgeous day ahead. Couldn’t be enjoyed if I was actively drinking, filled with self loathing and nausea.

Mags, I’m so sorry about the asthma. How frustrating.

FBL, prayers for Fran, and your peace with her apparent mind set.

Toots, I golfed yesterday until I was stunk by a wasp/bee. I had fun, but I did terribly in southern grasses. Lots of lost balls.

Bekind, great we have chores to provide satisfaction, eh?

Hi purps, how’s life in FL?

Hi Saskia, yes, taking moments to use those given gifts of eyes to appreciate fall colors is a good conscious thing. AMAZING.

Got my second Covid booster and also this year's flu shot - one in each arm. Thankfully, had no reaction.

Yep Free, it is pouring snow now. Started a couple of hours ago. It is beautiful but keeps me in doors. Sigh. I may work up to bundling up and going out to do a couple of things outside but other than that I'm on indoor tasks today.

Well off to clean the kitchen, keep laundry going, and do a bit of self care.

May we all have the courage to do exactly what is in front of us no matter how inconsequential.

Good morning, friends!

Another one of my rare nights of 7 hours sleep with no sleeping pills - yay! I feel immensely grateful. I’m doing a trial run off the beta blocker and so far my brain fuzz has cleared a good bit - another thing to be grateful for today.

FBL, it’s very hard for those of us left behind when someone close to us has chosen to give up. I had that experience with my mother. Now I’m beginning to get a glimmer of what it’s like to be on the other side. I hope you will still have some time left with Fran.

Have a good day to all

Saskia, that is an interesting take on end of life. We may be the one with someone ready to go and then we may become someone ready to throw in the towel.

We are supposed to get more snow today although the sun is glimmering through the clouds right now. It looks like a Christmas card outside.

I have done my basic morning tasks and will get off the couch to bundle up to get outside to do a bit more tiny tasks: get some sticks, bring a paint brush in to clean.

I've been looking for events or activities to do in the coming months so I get out and around people. A part time job would be nice too . . . sigh. Doing what I can.

Good Morning Overs

FBL, great photo. Diesel will be good company this week, I’m sure.

Free2bme, great photos. I learn so much here.

dickensen, pleased your injections went well.

Sassy, pleased you had a good night’s sleep. Meds can so mess with our equilibrium a lot of the time. It must be a relief for the fuzzy head to be going.

Mr. Mags had always been a good sleeper until a year or so when he would wake up around 1 or 2am and not be able to get back to sleep for hours, then be tired out through the day. He usually comes to be late (compared to me) at around 11am. ….Anyways he tried coming to bed earlier and found he slept better and longer. How does that work I wonder. I’ve always liked an early night and early to rise, it feels right for me.

Have a good day my friends xxxx

Good morning, friends

Dickensen, always nice to finish a big project!

FBL, you’ve got a nice (if temporary) companion there :-)

Hi Mags, Purps

Bekind, hopefully snow here is still a little ways off. Making specific plans for the winter time sounds like a great idea!

Free, thanks for posting the lovely pics. I agree with Mags that we learn so much here. For those of us somewhat limited in ability to travel and experience new things, the diversified people and their places here provides a beautiful window into the world.

Have a beautiful day to all
