Sassy, I suspected I saw you flying through the air towards the waft of Andy’s fresh baked bread. Leave some for PJ.


I visited my friend Jan yesterday. Just as I arrived at her bedside she started in the throes of dying. It’s something I won’t unhear or unsee for a long while but I’m truly grateful she isn’t suffering anymore.

We’re forecast rain today which is good because it feels very clammy. Ooh I’ve just remembered I need to put out the wheelie bin before 7am and I’ve a grocery delivery between 8-9 am. Best get myself sorted out.

So, Fran's hospital care team was supposed to meet with us at 11 AM yesterday. I got there right on time, but no one seemed to have a clue about what was going on. I stayed for about a half hour until Fran's personal nurse showed up. I checked with the front desk and again, no one seemed to know anything. I truly had to get back to the office, so I'm not sure what (if anything) really did happen yesterday. The good news is that Fran's congestion seems totally cleared up and she looks better than she has in awhile. Maybe I'll find out more today (???).

FBL, good news Fran’s congestion seems cleared up. Sorry the care team was a no show. Perhaps an unforeseen emergency kept them away.

Sassy, me too..I’ve been patient for so long now. I was speaking with Mil’s neighbour earlier and that happened to them too! The solicitor couldn’t find the deeds.

I'm hoping for a rip roaring day of laundry, get some gas, take a shower and maybe a bit of gardening.

I really need to go food shopping but so don't like that particular task. Sigh.

Well clafoutis in the oven and laundry that needs to be put in the dryer.
