I have had a very pleasant day. FF I saw my addiction counselor today and it is helping me immensely. I hope your appointment goes well. I also hope tomorrow goes well at my new job. No panic or anxiety yet! I have my clothes organized and coffee set.

FF, you are way beyond just addiction counseling. A few pamphlets and an hour long session stating the obvious isn't going to help much. I did counseling and they just said to get a hobby instead of drinking haha. I needed In-patient rehab for 5 weeks with trained professionals who specialize in addiction treatment. Psychiatrist, psychologist, addiction counselors, and nurses all on staff.

I had to step away from the forum for a bit, it was taking up too much time or energy. Had a nice break.
Today is day 29.
Not going easy but lots of positives.

Lost my post!
Another good sober morning here-went for a run, chased my dog after he busted out through my screen door(he's fine and so is the door) and was very productive at work.
Need to go find something to eat as I am just running on coffee...
Day 8 here-glad to see everyone adding to their sober days.

Day 1. I just don't know what to do with myself at this point. Poured the last of the beer out a few minutes ago. I've done a SMART and an AA meeting today.
I found out last night while drunk facebooking (🤦♀️)... that my Mom's husband got remarried last year and never mentioned it to my family. I am glad he moved on... but also upset.
My daughter sent me a belated mothers day package and it was so very sweet. I really needed that today. As much as we drive eachother crazy sometimes I am so blessed to have her.
Then I went to message my oldest son and saw texts from him very nicely last night asking for hubby and I to please keep our voices down. So I really owe him an apology... and more than that he deserves change from me.
So I am just a big weepy mess today. But I am here and trying.
