3.5h , 15km, 3 walks...Roxy is knackered. The muzzle harness prevented her attacking 3 silent organisms, which were all silent but dog got supernose. A pigeon in long grass, a rat dog hiding and a cat. Credit to her- well behaved otherwise .See GP first thing tomorrow about status quo- re depression/meds, so an early start. I also got 2h study in.

15km - I'd be knackered too

Things seem to be back to normal(ish) for me. A low key 4th, and hopefully a low key week.

Weather has moderated a bit here - just hitting the low 100's during the day which is really pretty manageable.

Be good ...

Very sore back. GP prescribed muscle relaxant not effective. It is day 3 post my jarring impact fall. Worstest day 3. Also took big nose (dog) to a new wetlands space, on the edge the city on the way back from GP. A converted horse racing venue. Every man and his dog were there. Dog got very overstimulated and she lunged at every dog she could see. A few hundred times. She is a cattle dog, all muscle, not an inch of fat. So the lunges again, jarred my arm and my stupid back. Only 2h walkies today. The first walk was at 0630, so Roxy could wizz before 45m drive to doc. I first saw him when I lived a few streets 6y ago when I first got sober. Worth the drive. Ayhow at 0630 it was dark, cold (2 degrees C). Despite wearing gloves, my hands turned purple and they went numb. Doc happy with my mental health progress.

Dear friends, it’s been a while and recent events require that I check in. A life change or two has occurred and day six is nearly complete. That’s the good news. The bad news is that it took a four plus day hospitalization to jump start it. The blood tests and other items could have been worse but it was not good.

Whether the entire incident was solely the result of drinking (and I don’t believe it was) is irrelevant. The fact is that it was a major contributor and is absolutely the reason for my horrid test results. Hoping to keep moving forward again and doing the next right thing.

Great pics of your pooch, PJ. Hope all is well with everyone.

Sorry for your health crisis 13th. However, if it leads to sobriety that would be a good thing. Something good from something bad!

Thank you all for the support. I'm into double digits now but trying not to count. Feeling some wobbles and trying to keep busy, eat right and rest after my adventure in the hospital. Planning to start some meetings this week and see if I take to them anymore than I did in the past.

PJ, sorry to hear you're feeling crud. Hope it turns around quickly.

Any news on the grand, MITA?

Hey Dee, Caramel, Purps and bbg. Anyone seen any of the previous folks like Bobbie or Sam, among others?

Hey 13th - glad to see you again. All I can say is "keep at it". It does get better.

Sorry you are feeing crap PJ - walking is good!!

No new baby yet!!

The images from the new Webb Space Telescope are amazing. Millions of light years away. The images are actually from light that was emitted billions of years ago. Placed against the new life that will soon be coming into my world has my brain feeling weird - not in a bad way, though. Just cool stuff.

Be good ...

Hey Thirteenth! I used to try not counting days as well….felt like too much pressure sometimes…you’re doing great! Yeah it’s gotten quiet lately; some some of our classmates still stop by periodically.

[Roll Call!]
