Happy Tuesday gang 
I am grateful that the "this too shall pass" mindset actually works sometimes. While Thanksgiving was a few days ago, it took me a few days to shake off the bad vibes. I was feeling pretty good yesterday and got a decent nights sleep last night.

I think about xmas/my Jan b/day as being noted, but not about family stuff. This xmas is the 8th post burns...(jeez that went fast). I suppose it brings back mem's about my frying....but I am a little older, maybe wiser, and wider.

Pottering on quietly with gift-buying for my DDs.
Firming-up plans for what I'll do on the day if I should happen to be alone.
Christmas card list numbers the same as last year, one friend has passed away but another from whom I had not heard in several years telephoned me a few months ago so I have her new address.
Several organisations to which I belong are having luncheons or afternoon teas over the next couple of weeks: deciding whether to attend or not. I should, hey. Social occasions have been few and far between over the past couple of years!
Also I think there may be a couple of bus tours I can take to view Christmas lights,
one in a distant city, the other in this town. Would be nice to be driven around to look at them, would see more than if I drove myself.

Nursing home over back fence sharing rats again. Rats attract snakes..ugh
Newly instralled solar power system notworking again..the company send really nice emails..but nothing else..
Got to just under the century, temperature wise today...summer is here.
Meeting up with one son b4 xmas. I always stress myself contacting my sons, it is difficult not to judge myself as being a bad person because of my drinking past. Difficult, but worthwhile..I am grateful.
