SE, though you understandably have *very* limited time, I am happy to see you even for a ‘hi and bye’!

Although it was nippy the past two days, I really enjoyed my slow walks. It’s funny - I’ve gotten so used to living here that when I walk by the ocean it no longer surprises me - but that hasn’t reduced the wonder and pleasure. I feel like all the troubles in the world today are far away (and hope they stay that way!)

Have a delightful Tuesday to all

The boss was feeling poorly yesterday. His daughter took him to the doctor and they are holding him in the hospital at least overnight for observation. Hoping that he will bounce back with proper medical attention.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, overs!

It is truly a gift to live so close to the ocean Sassy! I am happy that you are able to enjoy that view every day.

Hi SE!

I hope your boss bounces back quickly FBL!

Glad that you have adapted to the new medication PJ!

Have a good day all!

It is dry in south Florida. Our chances of rain have not materialized. The forests are dry and fires may occur. We are about 8 weeks away from the start of the rainy season.

Hi everyone,

It’s been a long time since I’ve stopped by to say hi. I’m so grateful that I can catch up on how my sober friends are doing.

I started a new role at my company in January. I was happy with the role I had but something came up that was aligned really well with my strengths and interests. I get to do quite a bit of writing / communication in my new role, which I enjoy. I also have leaders, colleague and team members who I look up to.

My kids are in 10th and 12th grade now! They just finished their high school hockey season. My 12th grader is close to making a decision about which college to attend. My 10th grader is into playing lacrosse and working out.

I’m grateful to still be sober. Life’s ups and downs, and joys and disappointments, were unmanageable when I drank. Now, whether I’m dealing with boredom, frustration, repetition, or sorrow - or good news or something pleasant - when I’m sober I know I can handle it.

Good to see everyone!

How lovely to see you here Glee! And thanks for the update, I'm so happy you are enjoying life in sobriety.

SE thanks for the fly past

Peej glad the meds are helping.

FBL positive thoughts for your boss.

Sass, I have a great affinity with the sea being a water sign and love that I live close enough to overlook water in both my homes!

dickensen, I hope the fires don't materialise it's awful the devastation they cause these days. Being flippant, I'd love to send you some of the rain we've been getting lately in our corner of Spain it's been record breaking!

hugs Overs!

Thanks for the update, Glee!

The boss is still in the hospital, but it appears he's bouncing back. His heart seems okay, they are just being cautious.

Have a Happy Hump-Day, overs!

Happy Hump Day!

Glee, great to have you pop in. Sounds like you are doing well

PJ, best of luck with the new meds. They can be challenging at first but there’s a real chance they can help.

Dickensen, hope that dry spell doesn’t result in any bad stuff.

FBL, sending positive thoughts for your boss.

Hi to Toots, SG, Mags, Dee and everyone else. Have a good one

Good Evening Overs

FBL, pleased your boss’s health is improving.

Good to see you Gleefan

Toots, lovely that you’re near the water too. I remember you mentioning your last home was near the water.. I love the water, always have and lived nearby the sea in my youth. I said I’d move back one day. I’m a fire sign though

Dee, more congratulations on 15 years!

I finished my second assignment on dementia a few hours ago so I’ve been chilling out and resting the little grey cells.

Hope you’re having a good day or night. xxxx
