Suze - thanks! I am getting so forgetful It is flattened out now and they hung it on a white wall with good natural lighting so it shows well :-). It’s not a show for prizes - just a chance for us to show off our creations. It’s fun.

Have a good day to all

I got to do a 2 hour radio show tribute to my boss last night. I didn't get to bed until about 12:30 AM. I got to "sleep-in" until about 6:30 AM, which was nice!

Have a Wonderful Weekend, overs!

Good Morning Overs

Hope it was a good weekend for everyone.

I feel like I’m in a limbo land dividing my time with mum in law, visiting my friend in hospital and catching up chores at home. Talking of chores, mum-in-law is forgetting how to use her washing machine. Yesterday she wanted a new one insisting it wasn’t working right. Mr. Mags ran a wash cycle which seemed fine. It’s only 7 months old. She said she should be in a home and they’d look after her and do her washing for her.

She wants us to live with her, she’s said many times. When she settled down she said she wouldn’t like to be in a home. Mr. Mags said he’ll do the washing when she wants it. It’s hard for her, she’s always been so good at looking after her home and she still does a lot but gets confused with any controls. Getting older presents it’s challenges.

Sorry about the moan.

Have a good day my friends xxxx

Mags, it’s ok to moan. I think that for many of us the years we spend taking care of aging parents can be very stressful and sometimes seem endless. I felt that way with my mother sometimes but awhile after it was over I realized that I was glad I helped her.

Have a beautiful Monday, Overs

Good morning all,

The teenagers I left at the airport yesterday, made it to Mexico. I got a picture of them with their Mom. They hadn't seen her in two years. Ugh.

Today I'm hanging with my 5 year old great niece.

Also I need to track down my car registration stickers, call the lock and key guy, try to find my drivers license and be sure I paid a bill.

Onward with the quotidian minutia!

Good Morning Overs

Bekind, hope you had a fun day hanging out with your niece. Pleased the teenagers made it to Mexico safely. That’s a long gap for seeing their mom.

It’s a beautiful sunny day so far. I’ve fed the cats and the birds. I need more bird food. It’s a pain waiting for Mr. Mags to take me to the market. I will best pleased when I can drive again, though to be honest my wrist feels ok to drive now.

Have a good day my friends. xxxx

Intrvrtd, it does indeed get better and better. I rarely notice months now and need to focus to remember years though I used to count hours (and sometimes minutes) when I started!

Mags, sounds like your wrist is improved???

Have a terrific Tuesday, my friends

Sassy, my wrist isn’t as painful as it was. That’s progress. Still can’t turn it upwards but I can live with if that’s how it ends up.
