One Year & Over Part 86
That's beautiful, Sassy! You are very talented.
We're FINALLY getting a little taste of spring over here. I may be able to hit the disc golf courses again soon!
Have a Marvelous Monday, overs!

Love the collage Sassy. Also the encouragement.
It is a bit cloudy and windy in Nevada right now. I will have a day of solitude and hope I can get some things done: exercise, tax extension, text my brother, pay a cleaner.
Well I'm not sure where I am going but I'm going. Sort of.

Make that three of us Sass. Supposed to golf today and tomorrow but looks like more rain. This trip to Spain has been a real washout, literally and metaphorically. It really hasn't charged my batteries, more, just added stress! Can't wait to go home to Scotland and work on the house and garden. Ironically from next week on here in Spain it is unbroken sunshine!
Good Morning Overs
Sassy, yes! Crazy brains. And to think me and my friend was going to trial meds for a clinic years ago…to earn some extra cash! It didn’t happen fortunately. Hope you managed to get some quality sleep time
The blossom tree looks lovely just outside my window. The greater spotted woodpecker is at the peanuts whilst a dove is patiently waiting on.
Have a good day my friends, be safe xxxx

We actually had a touch of spring yesterday! It was 62F, so I broke out the shorts and took a walk around my neighborhood. Lots of folks out and about, enjoying the weather. Looks like another cool down in a couple of days.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, overs!

Sorry the weather has not cooperated Toots.
Springtime here too! I did a four plus mile hike to the top of our local ski resort. It was a great workout scrabbling straight up the rocky trail to the top.
Have a good day all!

Thanks, all!
Mags, lovely view from your window!
Toots, sounds like you and Spain weather were completely out of sync this time.
I must admit that the signs of spring have me feeling more hopeful these days :-)
Have a delightful Tuesday, my friends

Good morning troops!
I head East across the western desert today. I wish I had more books on cassette or a way to hook my phone into the van speaker system. Ah well.
I have really fallen off the exercise wagon. Irk. I did do 10 minutes of yoga yesterday but that was it.
So I'm off to strip my bed and start laundry, look for eggs, get some things out of the van and do yoga.
Onward with whatever come our way!

Sass, not so much a case of being out of sun h as the weather being completely unheard of here. The wettest March since records began, the worst Calima (that was the red sand storm) and the longest stretch of wet days anyone can recall! We have managed to have some fun and get in some golf so not too disappointed, though we have t done the usual things and will have to head back to Scotland leaving a leaking roof as it's been too wet to fix!
Good Morning Overs
Bekind enjoy your travels!
Toots pleased you got some golf in. Another trip back to repair the roof before long I guess?
It was nice and sunny but a dark cloud has appeared. Amazing how it changes the outlook, just like that.
Last day of my steroids today so hopefully I’ll get my head back to normal, well you know, as normal as I can be.
Have a good day, lots of love dear Overs xxxx

Mags, happy to hear you will be off the steroids! I found them to be nightmare-ish at those high doses.
Toots, glad to hear you did get in some golf in spite of the rain.
Bekind, I find it all too easy to fall off the exercise wagon! Hmmm, I wonder if a thread here with a virtual exercise group would work
Have a Happy Hump Day, Overs

Morning all,
My yesterday did not proceed as planned. I was all loaded up and headed out and the van wouldn't start. Got it jumped. Bought a new battery. It still wouldn't start. I proceeded to have it towed all over everywhere until I found a shop that works on VW Eurovans. Sigh. Apparently they can't get to it for 2 weeks. Sigh. So looks like I will be in Nevada for a couple of weeks.
I'm feeling beyond grateful that this didn't happen in some windswept freezing rest stop in the middle of no where. Also I'm grateful that my girlfriend is more than happy to have me stay for as long as I want.
If this is as challenging as it gets while living life on life's terms, I am indeed one privileged individual!

Bekind, Sorry about the change in your travel plans but I'm sure you will make it work for you.
Mags, I hope you feel improved soon.
Sass I should have been in the gym today but a sleepless night has left me to lethargic to force myself to go. We will take a walk along the waterfront today though. Our last chance as we leave early in the morning.
