Best to you Wl. It’s tough that you can’t visit with your Dad.

I’ve got a meeting with some union officials and the bossman today. Hope it goes ok.

Be well SRers.

Meeting went well. I’ll be on leave for a while, while getting sorted.

That is wonderful, TC. The best. You can use this time to immerse yourself in recovery. I'm doing a mishmash of things, but they keep me really busy. My former sponsor is not in good health, so that's out now, and I haven't done anything toward replacing her. But, I do online meetings and now this 30 day sobriety thing, which is basically written exercises and reading. And yoga, which I'm supposed to do on awakening but it gets in the way of coffee time. Not very committed there, I must say. But I did it today, and today is all we really have, right?
I'm so glad you've gotten some help. Do you think it's enough?
WL, I'm so glad you're sober through this. I hope your dad is comfortable and at peace. I hope you are, too.
Monday I should here from the new job. It will be funny if after all this they don't hire me. No, not funny, but odd. I applied for a couple of other jobs, too, so I won't feel like it all hangs on this. My future boss is out on mental health leave, so I will fit right in there!
I'm searching my apartment for Charley's flea meds (you give one every 30 days), and doing some spring cleaning while I'm at it. I'm getting a little frustrated over it since I know they must be here, but I can't find them. They're expensive and also take about a week to arrive when you order them and he is already past due and scratching.
Lots of love to all of you!

Only you know if its enough Karen. If there's the slightest thought it's not, get to adding things to your toolbox

Glad you have some time off TC to devote time to recovery,

D

Thanks Dee, I will. I never think my toolbox is full and finished, mostly because I've proven to myself that it wasn't so many times. I think it's fuller than it's been before, or at least my tools are sharper. But yes, I do need to add some things.
Really though, I was asking TC if he thought the things the counselor and doctor gave him were enough.
Have a great sober day and night, all.

I have to be in my recovery everyday. 2 or 3 nights a week doesn’t cut it.
I have to be living it. Doing some reading or maintenance work everyday. Even more so on the crappy days.

I haven’t been in recovery. I’ve been around it. I can see that now.

Have a good night folks.
good day aussies.

Yes it is. Sober Saturday that is. It's something to really be grateful for.
I agree, TC. I have to do it every day, live it. I'm getting to like it, which is a real help.
I'm thinking of going to lunch with friends from my old job tomorrow. I really want to go, but Athens is so virus soaked. I can't decide. I'll just sleep on it, I guess.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Well, I went ahead and went. It was so nice seeing them. It was nice that no one was drinking. Of course it was noon, which helps.
Where is everyone? I hope it's a great day for you all.

Karen, so glad you had a nice lunch with friends!

Willow, enjoy your day at work. It is currently 7p.m. Sunday here. Strange thing to consider sometimes.

Anyone know what time it is in Tokyo?

Sober. One day at a time.

it's 12.36 PM Monday in Oz....I'm an hour ahead of Tokyo - so they must be about 14 hours ahead of you TC.

You are 16 hours ahead of me Willow.
You should be ending your work day about now. Enjoy.

Have a sober, happy, day friends.
