Sigh...recovery/health first.
I am having to withdraw/take leave of absence this semester from my art studies.
Despite following advice of treatment/meds from a small army of health pro's, my clinical depression ,anxiety, chronic fatigue and c-PTSD have escalated...at least booze is out of the picture.

Glad your meeting with youngest son went well, PJ. That's awesome. Sorry you have to take time off from you classes, but better to focus on what you think is more important. I hope you feel better soon.
I'm signing up for a new workout place, and I'm pretty happy about that. I had discovered an organization that runs group classes for people in recovery by watching a Ted talk by the guy who started it. He started it up in Boston, and it has grown to include many places around the country and there are now some classes near me. I've always enjoyed the gym, but COVID kind of sidetracked that a bit - that and some growing laziness on my part
That whale is in better shape than me at this point, Purps.

Whales...still not seen none although they pass my way seasonally..I think there is a massive whale conspiracy...
Another Star Trek movie on tele...nice, safe SF...where all aliens look like humans and there is no slime....
I am just beginning to see how unwell, depression wise I have been. Health and healing now the biggie to focus on..

I'm guilty of being quiet Purp. But I do check every day to see how everyone is. I just went over two years sober in January. If I had not stuck with all of you guys I know I wouldn't have made it this far!!!

Congrats on the 2 years BBG. Quitting smoking is huge, too.
Yes, 6 years for our group is pretty awesome. I realize it’s not nearly as active as it once was, but I think that’s to be expected?
