Hello friends
Just thought I'd drop by with an invitation to the One Year and Under Club ~ For anyone looking for a little extra support....more good peeps to chat with. Hope to see you there!

Are there any of us from the Class of January 2021 still posting at SR?
I'm 15 weeks sober now, today is day 106 for me. According to the app on my phone I've saved £1,428 which I would otherwise have spent on alcohol (and cigarettes, as the only time I smoked was when I was drinking). In truth I probably would have spent a lot more because when I was drinking I would also be phoning for takeaway food as well as ordering goodness knows what from Amazon.
The main thing though is I feel a lot healthier. I'm going to bed sober and waking up sober, coping with stress better, I look a lot healthier and my outlook on life, while still not brilliant, is a lot better than what it was when I was binge drinking for two or three days every week or two. My sleep is still not brilliant but then again it never really has been. I've always been a poor sleeper. But I feel more motivated at present than I have felt for a long while.
I hope other Class of January 2021 posters are doing well. If anyone is still struggling then keep trying to quit. Even after 15 weeks I'm not taking my sobriety for granted. I just try and take each day as it comes.

I don't move much further than the Newcomers To Recovery forum so keep forgetting about the the Unders Club thread. I've just posted in there so I'll remember about it in future!
My Class is still active but only a few of us left.
I leaned on many threads in the beginning.
There is also a 24 hour check in thread where you post every day to stay sober.
And the Sober Bus thread which is a light hearted take on the same.
Use them all. It really helped me.
Hopefully your Class will pick up but its good to have other options.
