24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 495
VoVo, have you tried any of those white noise (ocean surf, wind in the trees) machines to help you sleep? On-line recordings are available also, some of which are free. If you haven’t tried them , it might be worth a shot.
24, please.
Love to all.

Back to day 1. Unfortunately, I had a drink yesterday...so close to 2 weeks
I should have spent more time on SR, however, my mom (94 and with end stage Alzheimer's) has not been doing well. We just brought her home from the hospital on Tuesday (got out of my lunch date). She keeps getting UTIs as she is no longer in control of her bowels and wears depends. It's so heartbreaking as she hasn't recognized me in years and at one point, was aware of the fact that she was suffering from memory loss.
That's no excuse for drinking and I need a better plan to deal with my emotions. Therapy? Perhaps.
Anyway, thank you all for your support. I'm still here and will not give up.
Edit- I need 24 sober hours @ 11:16 AM EST. Please.
