That is kind of a miracle right now.

BE, sometimes it is good to take a day off and let your body heal. I always find on days off from working out I can’t stop eating. I usually feel like rubbish when we go out to eat because I eat twice as much as I usually do. Hope you sleep/slept well.

Bilr; my mate who's a great runner advised me to do quicker short distances to improve speed. So today did 4 * 500 metres at a reasonable lick. Haha god knows I couldn't string them together yet but a good burn and work out!

Lol Be I don’t think I could run 100 metres let alone multiples of 500m
My ankle is too dodgy for running. I’ve had too many netball injuries, and have to be really careful even walking. I wear boots that lace up around my ankles when I’m bush walking because I have rolled my ankle too many times in normal running shoes. So I have to stick to walking. I do admire those who can run

I currently just want to walk. Getting there.
And I think runners are completely insane.....just why would you want to do that?
OK.....maybe just the runners here, because I live in a 200-yr old bricked village.
Brick streets and pavements......gosh I forgot the Aussie word for a sec.....footpaths.
So the runners here are taking big risks in my book.

Yes BE, speed interval training is good if you are entering a race. Me, I’m just trying to exercise everyday now, lol. Races are in my past.

Suze, insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. That explains my past drinking, but us runners like to mix it up by running on trails, streets, and even footpaths. I used to hike in the mountains so a footpath isn’t too much of an obstacle, lol.

Willow, I had to start over again several years ago with just walking because of an injury and I was overweight. Baby steps, lol.

I had a brick driveway in Florida, you definitely didn’t want to fall on it.

Another ho hum day working from home. I can only imagine how bad it would be if I were drinking through this pandemic. Luckily we have been able to experience this thing sober.

my wife is doing better, getting healthier every day. She is itching to be able to exercise again. I don’t blame her, I need that to help with the stay at home boredom.

Please give her our love.....she is a trooper. 14 stitches is a lot. I bet the scar will be cool tho.

And yeah.....I fell on the ice on the bricks first year here and dislocated my jaw.
I never injured myself when I drank (thank God) but I am doing a bang up job now that I am sober. Ridiculous.
You may or may not know that I broke my ankle a bit two weeks ago.....every day just wanting to be able to walk again.
I am grateful for just being able to take the rubbish out.

I was wondering why you said you were looking forward to walking again in another post. Wow, sorry to hear about the broken ankle.

i did fall and hit my head on a curb while drunk a few years ago. So I had to go to the ER with half a load on. Needless to say my blood pressure was high but I think they knew why.

I hope your ankle mends really fast Suze. Are you on crutches? I had to have crutches when I did my ankle last time. It wasn’t broken thankfully, but I did some ligament damage and it was hellishly swollen, and black and blue. And extremely painful. I couldn’t weight bear on it for several weeks. Ouch! I hope you’re back up and on both feet again soon xxx

I should have been on crutches....but the virus stuff is really scary here and no one is going to the ER unless they have to.
I should have just bought some....I was dumb. Looking after myself better now.

Love you honey. Hope you have a wonderful Friday. ❤️

Thanks, I hope you have a nice evening
I’m glad you’re looking after yourself. You need to rest that ankle though, so it has the opportunity to mend xxx

Hope everyone is well (as can be expected!) and looking forward to attacking the day
