AV came up with a sneaky plan.

I had transferred all my money to a savings account where I can't access it. I decided to borrow money from my mother for "cigarettes". Then I would but alcohol with it.

But I had a change of mind and bought the cigarettes to get rid of the money. Pretty close call.

I'm very annoyed with myself.

I want to go back to college this Sept but I'm not sure if I can afford it.

I think about all the money I wasted on booze and paying fines for alcohol related arrests. I could easily afford it if I had saved it.

Oh well.

I might be able to to back this year. I'm going to have to be extra frugal though. No room for **** ups over the next few months. I'm gonna have to really save.

Evening all. I agree with everyone else Freedom, being sober will give you time to go back and do the stuff you have missed or cocked up. But I also know that people telling me that doesn't make me feel any better, I'm seriously pissed at myself and this drug for messing everything up.

I just did an online quiz for our volunteers, good fun and only able to do it because I was sober. Several people asked what I had in my cup (tea!) because I was on good form...guess they assumed I was drunk.

Freedom you did really well by not buying alcohol. You’ll be able to save for college and really get your life on the track you want it to be on. Not drinking and getting arrested, that only leads to pain.

I’m on day 37 today. Not any special number, but every single day counts
