Day 6 for me, feeling good been eating well now too and feel like my energy levels are rising, think stoping the meds i was on has helped, been taking me a while to get to sleep but think that will settle in week or so. I have absolutely no desire or thoughts of drinking.

Good! - me neither
I know this virus is scary and disturbing people and making many people on this site edgy. But for me it is an absolute gift, allowing me to focus on kids, my health, my sobriety. IF (big 'if' as nobody really knows!) were like this til august it'll be six months since I gave up drinking...it feels like a huge head start

Hi everyone
It’s great to read all of the posts from you all
I have live chickens lol but they’re for eggs.
We always have backyard chooks (Chickens for those not familiar with Aussie-lingo). We used to have 4 but only have 2 now. We went to get a couple of new chooks but it seems there’s been panic buying on layer chickens too... Can’t buy any anywhere. So we’ll just stick with 2 for now. A couple of eggs most days is nice
I was speaking to an old drinking buddy yesterday. She just went out and bought 12 bottles of whiskey to last her & hubby a couple of weeks. Thank goodness I don’t have to worry about my alcohol stocks anymore!

Mornin’ All, the sun hasn’t even risen here yet but I am awake and sober. Not much to do except clean and organize the house and maybe go for a walk. Weekends aren’t any harder for me, I drank on every day that ended in a Y.
Venus Cat, Thank you. It's great to see you!
I'm fortunate that I bought a large pack of TP before this all got started because it's impossible to find here. People may starve to death, but they are going to have enough TP to last them a lifetime.
After all this craziness is over and stores are finally restocked, I'm going to start hoarding TP, myself. As God as my witness I will never worry about running out of TP again!

Good morning on Day 8! Busy, busy day yesterday. We moved our freshman home from college for good until August. I had several big work projects due and I stayed sober without any trials throughout the day. Loving this work from home thing....way less of the office stress feeling going on....great for my mental health. Still got out for my walk too.
Nah, your not late, plenty of March left and hopefully more people decide to jump in here. Congrats on day two, I know how hard it is to even get to day 1.

I would love to raise chickens but we are restricted where we live. Plus my dogs probably would have a say.
