The ailment seems to be running its dreary course.
I'm not experiencing pains now, just tingling and stinging sometimes and face looks...um... not so great. Some fever, no appetite, and I feel like "I cannot brain today, I haz the dumb".

Venturing back onto the internet. I has been really bizarre out there lately, and I'm not particularly good at filtering out the stupid stuff - so thought it was better to just avoid. I kind of feel like I'm doing my own, personal phase 1 COVID-19 re-opening

Caramel - I've heard that shingles can be painful, so I'm glad your situation does not seem too bad in that regard. I hope you get back to your old self soon!!

Still trundling along. All the body bits are very sore of late- which effects motivation to do difficult stuff like 'walking' and 'breathing'. Second f2f homegroup meeting yesterday. It was a good one- I think the first one was a bit subdued because of the isolation stuff. Much hope and struggle in the various shares. I shared about how when in Glenelg (beach suburb) where I lived in a very unnice boarding house just over 4.5y ago- certain public benches/bins/toilets/streets trigger memories...
...like sitting on that certain bench- pathetically drinking from a cheap cask of wine...with family not 15k away, one in a big empty house, or my bro- same distance with an unoccupied granny flat- and no one offered me help- though I almost begged for it. I had never felt so alone or helpless.
So whining about lack of motivation to finish assignments is almost a gratitude of not being in that dark place.

I get the planting thing Purps, but sometimes I feel like I got planted ... UPSIDE DOWN !! Haha
Glad the ailment is running its course, Caramel.
All good here, but not sleeping too well the last few nights, so I need to find some time to chill for a bit and recharge. Hopefully a good nights sleep is in my near future

Apparently with each 'attack' I do one this damnable painting, I show lots of improvement, but not still quite there.
The new round of feedback usually has a minor fortune in stuff to buy in art materials- like an oil colour 'china pink'...I will probably only ever use such a colour once, but I just remind myself of how much money I wasted over the years in booze.
Last week of semester and the online format tracks everything- broken down into different areas for downloading projects, research, watching required lectures, homework - and even involvement in online discussions...all very nicely indicated by a little circle that slowly fills with the percentage of time one has used the content.
Big arty brother.
I started back doing gym work seriously- using the very cluey physio's regime...it is to strengthen my lower back (where there are 2 badly mended fractures- one crushed) and improve my flexibility. I am feeling more energised by it.
I hope all are doing ok.
You continue to be in my thoughts, B.
