24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 457
Tink! The Chat People said that you’re invited to speak at their luncheon. Absolutely not—impossible to get a word in edgewise in that room. Could you imagine them simultaneously being quiet? I think it’s another trick . I’m not even entirely sure that the food is real..

I always think of you Red when I see the chat ppl in the bottom corner... have tried to join in the fun a few times but they go quiet when I’ve tried... maybe there’s a secret signal I’m not privy to...
thanks for remembering me dear Red...
Day 19 here
Lots of love to you and all
And a big virtual hug to you

Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today!!
Yesterday, after dropping my kitty off for her check-up, I came home and Henry's son had let our big dog get out (we've got 4...3 little ones and then there's big boy) and he bit a lady. Fire department, EMT and police were called out. That's probably gonna cost Henry a pretty penny, I'm sure. Henry's son is bipolar and schizophrenic (30 yrs old). Was living on the streets but has been here the past few weeks. It's frustrating but I try to distance myself from that situation for my peace of mind. I did watch The Wife and really found it enjoyable...Glenn Close is amazing. Also got to watch some TV programs.
The talent show last night was fantastic. Delightful to see addicts and alcoholics having fun, clean and sober. Also surprised at the talent that was exhibited...dancers, singers and poets!! As the final event for Recovery Month, this evening there will be a cookout at one of the transitional living facilities. There will be games, food, bouncy houses for the kids, a DJ and lots of dancing!! I'm really looking forward to it. Plan to have lunch with one of my sponsees who has 7 years. She's going to an interview and just wanted to touch base. I love my sober life.
Love and light to all!!

And they did not....I turned the game off in the 4th...I knew I'd be too wound up to get sleeping.
Checking in at 0825 on a cold, windy, rainy day.
Done with smokes again, want to live 24 hours sober
Treating myself as sick and telling people so.
made a delicious ham and cheese omelet.
