Day 6 for me. New sober date is August 21rst. A family get together did me in. That’s still no a good excuse though.

It started with two beers one day. Three beers the next day. The next day I ate an entire pizza and have no memory of it. When will I learn?

I hope we all have a sober day today.!

Gosh we have missed you lovely one.

I know how hard your family stuff is....it reminds me of so much of my own life experience. It's HARD, and it isn't as if you are getting any support from family. And a bad situation where the others are drinking....well.....that is just so difficult.

The only way out is to not go to these functions anymore dear Bailey. You need to look after you. s

6:38 am in California and checking in for another 24. It was a busy weekend with my kiddos. Friday night was the first football game of the season, so went to watch my daughter cheer. Both the JV and Varsity teams won, so it was s fun way to spend Friday night, HS kids are just a fun group to be around, I love their energy.

Saturday morning my oldest had her first cross country invitational of the season. She won her race, and actually had the fastest time for any girl for the day (about 600 girls). It was a good way to start off her season, and definitely a good confidence booster for her, it showed her that the hard works she put in all summer was paying off.

Saturday evening we went to a baseball game, it was a great family night, and yesterday was spent doing laundry, errands, and grocery shopping so we are ready for the week.

I’m at a training the next two days, and this morning it doesn’t start until 9:30 so I actually have a little time this morning.

Welcome to SR. Glad you posted! On your way home take a road that does not pass a liquor store!
Sometimes leaving your money/debit card at home helps since you don't have anything to buy alcohol!
Post when you are hearing your AV helps get you even more support!
