Quin is gorgeous Tictoc! So happy you have found each other. And massive congratulations on the new job Pinky!! That's fantastic. And how is your new job going Sweetpeacan? Hope it's all good. I missed a couple of days so I don't know what's happened to your ribs Dee but I'm glad to hear you're on the mend.
All good with me. We leave at 5am tomorrow morning to start our journey to Mexico. Naturally the kids are reaching the dangerous level of excitement .... one of them jumped over the banister this morning and when I asked him why, he said he wanted to see whether it's possible to get from upstairs to downstairs without actually using any stairs .... Naturally I am checking and rechecking the dates on our passports and stressing about mosquito sprays and travel plugs and after sun...... Naturally our dog is looking at the suitcases and looking very sad. He keeps dropping his ball into a case and I keep taking it out. It's a little bit heart breaking but I know he'll have fun and be spoiled at the dog sitters. So, all in all its very exciting and a bit crazy in my world but I love it. Hopefully I'll be able to check in whilst I'm away but if not, I'll see you all when I get home. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxxx

sAnd James, dear NGB.....I can hear that you have a fantastic AA Home Group, I love that you are drinking milk at night. My sponsor told me that it was the best thing for cravings. That if I ever wanted a drink, to drink a glass of milk and it would pass. I don't know why exactly, but it always worked.
I kind of think you need to be a little gentler with yourself too, and that you are doing TONS in a day. And posting here as well.....it is all wonderful recovery my friend.

Today I got a new best friend, my beautiful cat named Quin who I rescued today from a shelter. I can finally look after a pet now that I am clean and sober and I could cry with happiness tonight while I watch him sleeping on the window ledge. I know he will be my motivation to stay on this path now.
